On the afternoon of February 4, 2024, in the large conference room on the fifth floor of the company's office building, Jinan Metallurgical Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. held a grand 2023 annual summary commendation and 2024 target completion mobilization meeting. The meeting comprehensively reviewed and summarized the company's work in 2023, commended the "Metallurgical Craftsman" of the first employee skills competition in 2023 and the emerging advanced individuals, advanced collectives and innovative projects, and arranged and deployed the key work in 2024. Director/General Manager Si Yong of the head office, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee/Director/Deputy General Manager/Secretary of the Board of Directors Li Chunmei, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors/Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee Zhu Jiangli attended the meeting. Members of the company's leadership team, middle-level managers, commended employees and some employee representatives attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the company's chairman/general manager Liao Mao, on behalf of the company's management team, reviewed and summarized the achievements and shortcomings in 2023, and deployed various key tasks in 2024. He said: in the face of the increasingly fierce market competition environment and risk challenges, under the correct leadership of the head office, all employees of the company will forge ahead bravely, forge ahead, closely focus on the outline objectives, actively carry out the adjustment of organizational structure, product structure and marketing policies, increase incentives, dig deep into the potential, build high-quality brands, and ensure the successful completion of the 2024 task target.
Si Yong, director/general manager of the head office, congratulated the commended comrades and sent New Year greetings to all employees and their families. He pointed out: At present, the Institute of Metallurgical Science and Technology is facing reform in its management. Everyone should change the inherent thinking of the past and conform to the trend of reform. I hope that in the new year, new vitality will burst out through reform and optimization, and I also wish Yeke a good new year.
The conference also commended 29 advanced individuals and 7 advanced collectives.
The five commended advanced representatives and heads of production, quality, and technology made speeches around the completion of the mission in 2023.
