Jinan Metallurgical Institute held the second training session of "Employee Lecture Hall"

     On January 5, 2025, the second lecture of the "Employee Lecture Hall" of Jinan Metallurgical Institute was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of the office building. More than 120 middle and senior management personnel, representatives of marketing, production, technology, quality, functional department employees, and intern college students from the company participated in the training. This training is not only a report meeting on the achievements of learning from Haomai Innovation, but also a sharing meeting for all staff to deeply learn about Haomai Innovation and integrity culture.

     The lead lecturer for this' Employee Lecture 'is Liu Yong, the Chief Financial Officer.

    The training session will first be conducted by the Human Resources Department to promote the Employee Handbook to the attendees, enhancing their understanding, implementation, and execution of the company's basic behavioral norms.

    Each participant in the on-site learning of Haomai Group shared Haomai's innovation and philosophy, and proposed how the Metallurgical Institute can implement full staff innovation and practice a culture of integrity based on practical experience.

Cui Meng, an excellent representative of lean management in the production workshop, shared his experience and said, "Let lean improve quality and improve efficiency." Other production workshops have set an example and pursued goals.

     Representatives of frontline employees from various business units shared excellent innovative proposals, including equipment improvement, efficiency enhancement, cost reduction, and improvement of workshop environment, fully demonstrating the spirit of 'doing one line, refining one line' and confirming that 'there are gods on the frontline'.

     Three representatives of intern college students from the business unit took the stage to share their learning experiences at the Tongyu Lecture Hall (Second Lecture), and put forward their own ideas and insights on learning topics such as bold innovation and refined management.

     In order to encourage and recognize the advanced benchmarks that have emerged since the launch of all staff innovation in September 2024, and to commend the advanced and energetic, the company awarded exemplary individual and outstanding collectives. In order to enhance the enthusiasm of functional departments to participate in innovation among all staff, a training session will be held to conduct a PK battle between functional department innovation and improvement teams. Each functional department will claim their own team level according to the competition rules as the goal of innovation and improvement for this year. The team that achieves the goal will receive corresponding level rewards.

      Vice General Manager Si Chaoqiang pointed out in his speech that in the face of external market downturn, price wars, internal competition, overcapacity, and the situation of increasing income without increasing profits, internal costs remain high, and process technology needs to be continuously improved. It takes a long period of time for new product development to occupy the market. All personnel of the Metallurgical Institute should be prepared for danger, continuously carry out innovation and improvement for all employees, and continuously create an atmosphere of innovation and improvement for all employees.

     At the end of the meeting, company leader Liao Mao made a concluding speech, sharing Chairman Zhang Gongyun's message on the 30th anniversary of Haomai, and elaborating on why we should learn from Haomai's full staff innovation. He proposed:

    1. How can we avoid being eliminated as the changing times accelerate? The survival law under the great changes of the times - innovation for all employees;

    2. Only backward enterprises, no backward industries; Only outdated technology and those of us who do not learn, innovate, or make progress will inevitably be eliminated;

     3. Innovation is reflected in various aspects, not limited to technological innovation, process innovation, product innovation, but also including management innovation, marketing innovation, etc;

    4. In addition to the company leading the innovation of all employees, the employee rotation system should be quickly launched to select a group of outstanding talents with both morality and ability through rotation. "Only excellent employees can have excellent enterprises;

     Mr. Liao finally emphasized how to build a culture of integrity and create a clean and upright internal environment; How to cultivate excellent talents, self driven, goal oriented, courageous in taking responsibility, highly self disciplined, and striving for perfection in work; In various tasks and overall innovation and improvement, leading cadres should play a leading role and transform from "doing for me" to "following me".
