All staff innovation, driving development - Jinan Metallurgical Institute held an expert appointment and innovation proposal expert review conference

     To deepen the implementation of innovation and improvement for all employees, fully tap into and leverage the core effectiveness of expert think tanks, Jinan Metallurgical Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. held a grand expert appointment ceremony and innovation proposal expert review conference on March 13, 2025. This conference was witnessed by middle and senior management personnel, appointed experts in various fields, and probationary college students.

     At the beginning of the conference, the company's human resources department officially announced the list of experts covering three major fields: technology research and development, production management, and practical application. At the solemn appointment ceremony, the chairman and general manager of the company, Liao Mao, and the deputy general managers, Si Chaoqiang and Nie Yonghui, respectively, presented appointment letters to 26 hired experts. This expert team, composed of senior technical backbone, management elites, and skilled craftsmen, will shoulder the important mission of technological breakthroughs, talent cultivation, and innovation leadership.

     During the expert representative's speech, Deng Lifang, a technology research and development expert, stated that this appointment letter is not only an honor but also a responsibility. We will take technological breakthroughs as the fulcrum to promote the transformation of research and development achievements into productivity. Wang Shuqiao, a practical expert in frontline production, is based on production practice and promises to continue to make efforts in process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement. Production management expert Zhang Yubao proposed to establish a dual wheel mechanism of "problem oriented+innovation driven" to provide intellectual support for the upgrading of the production system.

     Finally, company leader Liao Mao put forward three requirements in his concluding speech: firstly, the formation of an expert team is a new starting point for the innovation journey, and it is expected that each expert can fully play their role in their own field and stimulate organizational vitality through "mentoring". Secondly, experts must play an innovative leading role in key areas such as process research and development, quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost control, and become pioneers in technological breakthroughs and reform demonstrations. The third is honor and responsibility. In an atmosphere of "respecting knowledge, technology, skills, and talents", the expert team should always charge at the forefront of innovation, interpret the value of honor with achievements, and contribute to the high-quality development of the company.

     After the appointment ceremony, the experts immediately immersed themselves in the innovation proposal review process. The innovative proposals from various departments cover multiple aspects such as technology, process, cost, and management. Experts conducted in-depth and detailed evaluations from multiple dimensions such as scientificity, innovation, feasibility, and economic benefits, and put forward constructive opinions, providing guarantees for improving innovative proposals and promoting project implementation.
