Reforming the old and innovating, reducing costs and increasing efficiency - Jinan Metallurgical Institute held the fifth lecture of the employee lecture and the summary meeting of the innovation stage for all staff

     On April 19, 2025, Jinan Metallurgical Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinan Metallurgical Science Institute") held the "Employee Lecture Hall Fifth Lecture and All staff Innovation Stage Summary Conference" in the conference room on the fifth floor of the company's office building. The theme of the conference was "Innovating the Old and Revitalizing the New, Reducing Costs and Increasing Efficiency", to summarize the company's all staff innovation work since the first quarter of this year. The meeting was chaired by Liu Yong, the Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of the Large Products Division of the company. More than 150 middle-level and above management personnel and some employee representatives from the company and Baoyuan subsidiaries attended the meeting.

      At the beginning of the meeting, all employees watched the anti-corruption education video together. The real cases gave everyone new inspiration and experience in the construction of party conduct and clean governance, the prevention and control of anti-corruption risks, and regular supervision. Taking cases as a warning, sounding the alarm bell, building a solid line of integrity, and laying a good foundation for the development of enterprises!

       Fifteen employee representatives of the company shared and exchanged ideas on topics such as "learning from advanced enterprises, how to be a good workshop director, striving to set an example, learning from the three fine management, being an effective operator, excellent innovative proposals and experiences, cost reduction and efficiency improvement experiences, and market expansion experiences". Through the wonderful sharing and achievement display of representatives from different departments who focus on their own duties, innovate and work hard, reduce costs and increase efficiency, and strive to set an example, the enthusiasm of employees for innovation and improvement is fully reflected, further inspiring everyone's firm confidence in entrepreneurship and striving for excellence. The conference will commend the innovation model of March, the winners of the first quarter innovation improvement and progress award, the top three winners of the first quarter innovation points, and the excellent innovation teams of the first quarter.

    Liu Yong proposed that enterprises need to build an "innovation honeycomb" model: releasing decision-making power through a flat architecture, cultivating trial and error courage through a fault-tolerant mechanism, and igniting grassroots wisdom with immediate incentives. Establish lean management philosophy, achieve a leap from manager to operator, drive innovation among all employees, and stimulate overall organizational vitality.

      Vice General Manager Si Chaoqiang summarized the previous innovation and improvement work and pointed out the work direction for the innovation and improvement work of all employees in 2025. Firstly, all personnel should change their thinking, and each management personnel should "immerse themselves in the situation", pay attention to the implementation of proposals, understand the true thoughts of employees through various forms, overcome difficulties, and jointly create a more efficient and competitive team through continuous innovation.

     In his concluding speech, Chairman and General Manager Liao Mao put forward three requirements: firstly, we must regard innovation and improvement work as a long-term commitment, taking no small steps and reaching a thousand miles. Leaders should consistently attach importance to it and play the role of coaches for innovation and improvement. The second is to build a learning organization in the Metallurgical Science and Technology Institute. All employees should maintain an empty cup mentality, learn from advanced enterprises in the industry, and quickly improve their comprehensive quality. The third is to adhere to goal guidance. The 'target responsibility letter' is a military order, and everyone should not give themselves any excuses to retreat. They should fight for survival and honor, take practical actions, and achieve outstanding results. The fourth is to strive to be six types of people, to seek happiness for those who strive, and to build a culture of integrity and a clean and upright corporate atmosphere.
