In order to celebrate International Labor Day, promote the spirit of labor, and enhance team cohesion, Jinan Metallurgical Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinan Metallurgical Science Institute") successfully held a fun sports meeting for employees on April 28, 2025. The theme of this event is "Happy Sports Showcasing Style, Unity and Striving for Excellence", which has attracted active participation from employees in various departments of the company.
The sports meet officially opened at 13:00. Liao Mao, the chairman and general manager of the company, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, welcoming and thanking all athletes, referees, staff, and colleagues present. He emphasized that May Day is a glorious holiday for workers, carrying the noble spirit of "labor creates happiness", and the sports meet is a stage to showcase hard work, unity, and friendship. He hopes that everyone can showcase their style, level, and results on the field.
Subsequently, each competition proceeded in turn. In the table tennis relay competition, the focused gaze and agile pace of the contestants showcase the team's tacit understanding to the fullest. In the two person three leg relay running event, the team members are closely connected, walking in unison, demonstrating the power of teamwork. The team held the ball and ran around the ring, with the team members cooperating seamlessly and carefully controlling their body balance. The cheers of the audience on site echoed one after another. In the fixed-point shooting event, the players won applause from the audience with their precise shooting skills, and even achieved a spectacular situation of tied first place in a single event. In order to determine the winner, extra rounds were played one after another. The tug of war competition pushed the atmosphere to a climax, with all participating teams working together and the cheering of the cheerleaders deafening. The atmosphere on site was very lively.
After fierce competition, the Large Products Division ultimately won the team championship with outstanding performance, while the Management and Support Department won the runner up. Baoyuan Park and the Geological and Mineral Division actively participated in the competition, demonstrating good team spirit and sports style.
At the end of the event, company leaders presented prizes to the winning teams and expressed gratitude and congratulations to all participating employees. Through the competition, communication between departments has been enhanced, the distance between colleagues has been narrowed, and the team strength of "one family, one heart, one force" has been consolidated.
