"Crafting Dreams with Artistry, Pioneering the Future with Skills—The Third Hardmetal Production Skills Competition of Jinan Metallurgical Research Institute Concludes Successfully"

To thoroughly implement the talent development strategy, comprehensively enhance employees' professional technical skills and overall competencies, and strengthen the talent pipeline for key positions, Jinan Metallurgical Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MRI") recently held its third employee skills competition. Frontline workers from various workshops competed together, focusing on core operations in hard alloy production, showcasing the craftsmanship and dedication of industrial workers in the new era.
This competition closely aligns with the entire hard alloy production process, featuring contest categories such as "Autoclave Operation," "Milling Operation," and "Gas Cutting & Welding," covering key processes from powder production to precision grinding of finished products. It comprehensively evaluates participants' operational standardization, depth of process understanding, and problem-solving abilities. During the competition, the participants demonstrated high morale, proficient and precise operations, showcasing their solid expertise and reinforcing their confidence in their respective positions.
To ensure fair and professional evaluation, the evaluation team is composed of technical experts, production directors, and production team leaders from each process of the Metallurgical Institute. The evaluation adopts a dual dimensional scoring system of "practical assessment+theoretical written test", with a focus on employees' control of product quality, operating standards, efficiency, and safety production indicators. The written test also examines whether the standard document process is clear and whether the understanding of production line details is comprehensive.

The purpose of this competition is to stimulate the enthusiasm of employees to study and improve their skills through the methods of "learning through competition, training through competition, and application through competition", create a strong atmosphere of "comparison, learning, catching up, helping, and surpassing", and lay a solid talent foundation for the high-quality development of Metallurgical Institute. The Metallurgical Institute will take this competition as an opportunity to continuously strengthen employee skills training, promote the spirit of craftsmanship, and inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of the Metallurgical Institute.
